PMS Interfaces

Overview

Travel Tripper has interfaces built to many of the most popular Property Management Systems.  By using these interfaces you can reduce your operating costs, improve reservation accuracy, and ensure rate alignment between all of your distribution channels.  Your staff can focus on guest service instead of typing reservations from a fax or email into your PMS. With a PMS interface in place you can spend time analyzing and maximizing your marketing programs instead of entering data into multiple OTA Extranets.  Hotels the world over are enjoying the benefit of PMS interfaces, and more PMS companies each day are adding interfacing capabilities.

Three Types of Interfaces

Basic:  One way reservation delivery to PMS.  With this interface, Travel Tripper will send initial reservations, changes, and cancellations directly to your PMS.  This will eliminate time-consuming manual processing and eliminate reservation data entry errors.

Enhanced:  Two-way inventory and rate synchronization:  This interface adds the capability to send inventory status changes and rate updates from your PMS to our reservation system.  This saves you the step of managing dynamic information in Travel Tripper’s system, saving you time and helping your avoid errors.

Full:  Two-way reservation synchronization.  Using this powerful new style of interface, reservations are visible in our system regardless of where they were originally booked.  If we handle your voice reservations this interface ensures we can view all reservations for calling guests.  In the future, if you utilize this style of interface guests will be able to view reservations on the RezTrip booking engine that were originally made through another channel.  Only a very few PMS companies support this style of interface currently, but we expect the number to steadily increase.

Costs

Travel Tripper charges an initial implementation fee to enable the interface for the first time.  This covers any technical development required to enable your PMS instance to connect to our reservation system.  It also covers Travel Tripper’s testing and certification efforts.  Once implemented, Travel Tripper charges a modest monthly support fee to maintain and monitor the PMS connection.  PMS companies each have different pricing models and levels for interfaces, so it’s important you speak to your PMS company before committing to an interface.
